    We need to preserve the content of some jira-tickets (including the attachements) in out long term archive.

    The PDF format is not suitable for long term archiving whereas PDF/A is.

    Our case is also the creation of pdf/a files at the end of a ticket cycle for archiving. ideally also PDF/A-3

    We follow a Quality Management System that requires us to have robust archiving methods. PDF/A is designed specifically for this purpose. For us PDF/A-3 is our preferred option.

    The public prosecutor and EU directives require secure storage for 10 years. 
    One type of document that is approved is PDF/A.
    We need this urgently!
