Macros or some other feature to display "content quality" and page lists for regular users

Original request:

Have the administrative views of "Content quality" to be presented as macros that can be embedded on pages themselves.

Other suggestions to give better look into the current quality (that could potentially be macros):

A stats bar showing "Space health" for users arriving at spaces for the first time - "Is this space actually useful?"

Create a "Hows my space" page that would let wiki gardeners understand which pages could do with some pruning and/or updating

Related: There were other requests to implement a general "wall of shame". Having flexible macros, would allow building this in a customizable form.

Archiving Plugin 4.3.0 (released yesterday) gives a new interface to browse through a space with the pages' status, last update time and last view time displayed.

It's not a macro, so it doesn't require you to embed the macro in any page, but a screen that is accessible by anyone who has read access to that space:

We would also like to have a macro that can display the content quality on the space homepage. The admins of our largest spaces are asking for this feature.

Also, we're using version 6.1.2 and the Page Status page is not available to users with view-only access to the space. Can this feature be added back to the plugin?

    Thanks for your comment, Jason!

Regarding the second part of your comment: by "users with view-only access" do you mean users who are not logged in?

Please elaborate here or feel free to open a support ticket regarding this question, so we can look into it and give you a proper explanation.

    Thanks!

    Levente,

Our space is configured to so that members of the confluence-users group have view access to the space. I've added a screenshot so that you can see all of the space permissions.
The two users that tried to access the Page Status page are members of the confluence-users group and neither of them could access it.

    Thanks.

    Thanks for the details, Jason!

It looks like it's something that we won't be able to settle quickly here in the feature request comments, so I created a support ticket in our system in your name.

One of our technical support colleagues will look into this and get back to you shortly!

Our use case is similar. I am not the site admin, but I am the admin of multiple spaces in our Confluence environment, so there are currently two pain points in my use case:
    - I do not have access to the overall content quality report that only the site admins can see in the General Configuration area.
    - If I own 20 spaces, I have to go to each space to see the content quality of each one, instead of having a custom aggregated report where I can see all of them in one view.

I would like to have a user macro that can display an aggregated content quality report for multiple spaces that I define. It would allow me to use space category to define the spaces it reports on.

We're considering this add on but we really would like to be able to provide regular users access to page quality measures in the form of a macro that can be added to a space.

We have a similar use case where we have colleagues in our department who are responsible for the quality the pages in certain areas and none of them as admin access to a space on purpose. It would be great if the code quality tree can be displayed as a macro on a page so that they will be able to follow-up on outdated pages or pages not being viewed for a long time. Many thanks in advance for that.

UPDATE: We have released the Better Content Archiving app's cloud version just a few weeks ago. It addresses many points criticized in the Data Center version, including also this one.

(Our plan is that, if there is interest, we will back-port the most valuable changes from the Cloud version to the Data Center one.)

In the cloud version, the Content Status Overview screen can be accessed by anyone! It lists all the spaces with precise counts of the contents in each status (2-minute video). Clicking the count, it will show the list of the matching contents:

The implementation fully respects the space permissions and the page restrictions: both the space list and the content list are filtered by the current user's permissions.

🔥 Try this in action now!

Others are looking for a Macro that can be used within Confluence to show similar to the Content Quality page.  This would be useful in our case to show an overall report of spaces that have not been viewed/accessed as we are looking to put a project together that would show space admins the current status of spaces and to either set to archive or provide feedback.
