Current situation
The setting "Move expired pages to the archive space" is for both manual and automatic archiving.
Desired situation
There is a setting for "Move expired pages to the archive space" for manual and a seperate setting for automatic archiving.
It is implemented in Archiving Plugin for Confluence 4.0.0!
For every types of rules, you can freely select the "triggers". As for this concrete request, you can activate/de-activate "archive if page is older than N days" and "archive if page is labelled with 'archive' or 'archive-single'" separately.
