However, in my scenario, we have job advertisement pages in a general Human Resources space. These particular pages are the only ones that need to expire and be archived, generally each in less than a month's time. In our situation, it would be more appropriate to have the page expired, and then immediately archived, based on the 'expire' label. We don't have much of a need to be monitoring or archiving the rest of the content in that space, just these advertisements.
As I reported in https://midori.zendesk.com/requests/659, I originally understood the expire label as a way of triggering archiving in the future!
#700 is also a related ticket, requesitng this.
Ticket #788 it was requested, too.
I am happy to report that the labels "archive-yy/mm/dd" and "archive-single-yy/mm/dd" are supported from Archiving Plugin version 4.5.0!
This work as you'd expect them to work, in nutshell: you add them to pages, and they will get archived automatically on that day!
