    Hi Vlatko,

    Atlassian currently doesn't allow integrations for Automation for Jira Cloud, so it's not up to us when we can deliver an automation app for cloud.

    There is an informal commitment from Atlassian to deliver extensibility in 1H 2022,  but we have to wait and see.

    We will be announcing updates as we have them here, so please continue watching this space.

    Hi,

    in Jira Server we use Excel Automation but it seems that in Cloud it's not available. At the beginning of each month we use Automation to generate various reports in Excel, if we don't have this option any longer, we will have to do it manually and it's a big workload, do you know if Excel Automation would be implemented this year or the next year, can you give us an alternative if not?

    Contrary to their previous communication, Atlassian lowered the priority of Automation for Jira Cloud extensibility and didn't give a new commitment.

    This means that however much we would love to deliver Better Excel Automation for Jira Cloud, it remains blocked by Atlassian.

    Please continue to monitor this space and if you are new here, please also vote and comment on the feature request on Atlassian's side.

    Hi,

    I have a customer I want to migrate to Cloud and this feature helps them automating at least 20 reports every week. Not having this feature would be a great drawback for their migration journey as well.

    This feature is critical to us and we relied on heavily on our OnPrem version of Jira. Now we are in the cloud we miss it badly.

    To get started, follow these steps:

    1. Make sure you have Better Excel Exporter installed and Automation for Jira available
    2. Install Better Excel Automation
    3. Read the Documentation and follow the Getting Started guide (offered within the app, after installation)
