    This would be very useful in our context.

    - The configuration of warn or block looks straightforward (a binary choice/selection box).

    - Not sure what 'semantics' you would define for a push (or pull request) on a server as you'd probably just want to warn the committer or account used to rather than have a reply to all the committers individually in the push.

    - You might want to add the ability to select who and how to communicate warnings to e.g. the committer, a Slack channel, .... This would enable a configuration management or QA/compliance function to pick up and remedy 'bad' commits.
