    This would be great to add as we are using better excel to send reports to staff as to the status of items and need the data extracted into excel from the table grid

    Hi,

    I desperately need this (with TGE, not TGNG) ! :)

    As it already works with PDF exporter, can't it be added in Excel easily? But maybe it's not that simple.

    What I actually need is to export the data (even if it does not look nice, I can clean it as soon as the field content is there).

    But what is strange is that when exporting a TGE field with "Better Excel (current fields)" export I get the data (even if it's not "nice") but when exporting it in a custom template I just get the number of rows in the TGE field, not the data itself.

    Vincent, what expression are you using in your custom template?

    Hi :)

    I tried several things like:

    • ${issues.getCustomFieldValue("customfield_XXXXX")}
    • ${fieldHelper.getFieldValue(issues,"customfield_XXXXX")} (and execute the field helper script)
    • ${issueNavigator.getFieldValue(issues,"customfield_XXXXX")}

    but none of them worked.
