Allow choosing global configurations only (no custom configurations!)

But still allow space admins to start the archiving in their spaces.

UPDATE: We have released the Better Content Archiving app's cloud version just a few weeks ago. It addresses many points criticized in the Data Center version, including also this one.

(Our plan is that, if there is interest, we will back-port the most valuable changes from the Cloud version to the Data Center one.)

In the cloud version, configuration is based on a triplet of schemes applied to each space:

    1. The content status scheme defines what statuses are available and how are those set to a page or blog post.
    2. The notification scheme defines what notification emails are sent, when, to whom and with what content.
    3. The automation scheme defines what background actions (archive, delete, etc.) are executed when and on what contents.

Having said that, space admins can:

    1. Select each of the above schemes for their spaces.
    2. Run the long-running jobs.

In contrary, space admins cannot override the globally defined schemes!

We believe this model is a great balance between configuration consistency and configuration manage-ability.

🔥 Try this in action now!
