    Thanks Ferenc,

This would be a great feature for us to be able to modify. We could then easily see who actioned an archive from the email result, and use this to discuss in our meetings if needed. We are unable to do so now as our usernames are actually identifiers, and not real names.

Upvoting this. Also in many of our systems the username is just an ID not a real name.

We cannot indentify users by their username. Display name would be preferable.

UPDATE: We have released the Better Content Archiving app's cloud version just a few weeks ago. It addresses many points criticized in the Data Center version, including also this one.

(Our plan is that, if there is interest, we will back-port the most valuable changes from the Cloud version to the Data Center one.)

In Atlassian cloud, Atlassian replaced user names with artificial, non-human-readable IDs. Because of that, we make our app show the users' display names everywhere.

For example, the "most recent views" list in the analytics section looks like this:

Similarly, display names are shown in every screens, the content status indicator, quick actions, macros, etc.

🔥 Try this in action now!
