yes, a simple post-function to create a pdf from a template automatically would be very handy

Hi Aaron,

yes this would work.

I installed Automation light and I can even use the trigger directly from the workflow transition, but in the actions menu the send PDF option is missing. Is this due to the light version or do I have to make some configuration to make PDF creation as an action available in with the light version of the plugin?

Jonathan, as an alternative you could use a post-function to fire a custom event "foobar", and then create an automation rule using the Automation Lite, with a trigger that catch "foobar" events and then creates the PDF.

Isn't this a solution to your problem?
