    We use JIRA as part of our QMS system, and we use Better PDF Exporter to create reports that are necessary for our QMS system. We have many different report templates, and have had to do a lot of customization to work with the customizations in JIRA. The are numerous templates that make use of the same functionality, for example, formatting of custom fields.

    Midori provides an example template that includes a macro for formatting a custom field. We presently have to embed that macro into each template. But when we create a new custom field, and if we want it formatted in a new manner, that means editing the same macro in each and every template. Which of course is time-consuming and error-prone.
