Users want to render PDF documents and send them as email attachments, all driven by cron jobs.

We are happy to tell that this feature was implement in plugin version 3.1.0.

There are multiple ways to implement scheduling:
- Easy: configure the PDF Automation Plugin that executes email sending triggered by CRON jobs or by issue events (issue created, updated, transitioned, etc.) https://www.midori-global.com/products/better-pdf-automation-for-jira/server/documentation/#rules
- Totally customizable: set up a JIRA service that executes a script, which sends out emails: https://www.midori-global.com/products/better-pdf-exporter-for-jira/server/documentation/automation
